TMD Announces i-Mediaflex Integration with IPV XStream Browse Client

NAB 2009, 20-23 April, Booth No: SU9205

TransMedia Dynamics (TMD) which specialises in the development and delivery of solutions and services via its Mediaflex content management system today announced that it has integrated its web-based, enterprise-wide "i-Mediaflex" architecture with IPV’s latest browse server and client, "XStream".

TMD’s i-Mediaflex architecture enables media organisations to manage both physical media and digital file based content throughout their relevant workflows. XStream is IPV's latest browse server and client, which offers HTTP streaming services along with VTR-type media handling performance within a web-based environment. It offers rapid deployment, cross-platform compatibility (PC and Mac), timecode and frame-accurate media compliance, all served out and managed over a WAN.
The combination of i-Mediaflex and XStream enables authorized users from both inside and outside an enterprise to see content - via any available desktop browser - as it flows through a facility and enable anyone with access rights to manage workflows for processes such as Post Production, Content Ordering, Subtitling, Close Captioning and Audio Dubbing.

IPV Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing Nigel Booth added, "Our respective products are already in use by many of the world’s leading media to reduce costs and increase productivity in a file-based environment, thereby enabling customers to improve their overall return on investment."
TMD products are integrated with additional popular products such as Avid Interplay (Post); Anystream Agility and AmberFin iCR (Content Repurposing); Harris’ QuiC Media Analysis Server and Tektronix’s Cerify (Assisted QC); Pilat Media IBMS (Channel Management) and Harris’ D-Series (Automation).
